As a close-knit company, we love banding together for various social events, and this year was no different.
From raising funds for worthy causes, to a day celebrating our favourite crisps, here’s what we were up to in 2025!
Pancake Day
Hosted by our iTEL resident chef Dave we set up a table, a camping stove and various pancake paraphernalia on the lawn outside our offices and enjoyed an afternoon of flipping fun.

Curry Night
We do this one every year, spending an evening at one of Chester’s great curry houses. If you’re in the area, we’d definitely recommend the Koconut Grove!

iTEL Summer Social
Each year we try to out-do the next, and following paintball in 2024, this time we took a trip to Clays Golf Driving Range. None of us were about to enter any professional tournaments, but who doesn’t love an afternoon of healthy competition?
After, with slightly less bruises and paint marks than last year’s war games, we travelled to the Commonwood Fisheries camping site for one of chef Dave’s famous BBQs.

Macmillan Coffee Morning
Once a year iTEL’s offices turn into the Great British Bake Off, raising money for a great cause and tasting amazing bakes! Fan favourites included Matty’s Malteser cheesecake, and Elen’s millionaire’s cake.
John’s Retirement Do
We said farewell and best wishes to John Cozens who has retired after an amazing 35 years with the company.
Gathering for drinks and nibbles we gave him a much-deserved sendoff filled with good memories and great toasts.
Thank you, John!

Crisp Day
Created and developed on a whim, iTEL dedicated a lunch hour to a pick-and-mix of all kinds of crisps.
We sampled the best and the worst, from Flaming Hot Takis to Gingerbread Doritos, and even created a ranking system. We take these kinds of things very seriously here at iTEL!
A bit of a mini event, we’re looking forward to more of these in future!

iTEL Christmas Party
And last but not least, a festive party to round out the year.
The day started with one of our iTEL ‘town halls’ – a chance for the whole company to gather and reflect on achievements and future endeavours.
After, a Christmas spread of nibbles, and then a trip to town for a drink and excellent food at Upstairs at the Grill.
For those still standing, we wandered into town for further drinks, and even a quiz night!

Many Thanks for an Amazing Year
We want to thank our staff and leadership team for everything they’ve done this year, and we’re certainly looking forward to what 2026 will bring!
