The UC digital adoptionspecialists

We make onboarding seamless and resource-free

iTEL helps MSPs, VARs, resellers and UC providers make customer onboarding simpler, more consistent and more valuable.

We combine deep UC experience with white label digital adoption technology, helping partners improve feature adoption, reduce support pressure and lower the risk of churn.

"We deliver digital professional services at scale, the equivalent of a professional services person in that customer's environment for an hour, except we do it digitally, repeatedly, and at a fraction of the cost."

Mark Henshall, Company Chair

We build better UC adoption

Our iTEL Digital Assistant gives UC customers guided support from the moment they start using their platform because the onboarding experience sits within the platform itself.

We help end-users complete setup, understand key features and get answers when they need them, all without relying on manual walkthroughs from partners or repeated support calls.

For our partners, it creates a scalable way to deliver better onboarding, stronger adoption and a more consistent customer experience across every deployment.

Experience built overdecades

iTEL started life in 1993 and has worked closely with Unified Communications vendors, service providers and channel partners ever since. Over that time, iTEL has provided training and adoption solutions to more than 100,000 companies, helping them get more value from their UC investment.

Since then, the challenge has changed, but our goal has stayed the same: help the Channel improve digital adoption at scale.

Customers need to understand, use and value the platforms they buy. Partners need a practical way to make that happen without adding more manual onboarding time, more support pressure or more cost.

Today, iTEL brings over three decades of experience into the iTEL Digital Assistant, giving partners a white labelled, resource-light method to guide customers from first login through to long term feature adoption while simultaneously boosting the customer experience, maximising margins and minimising the risk of churn.

Led by people who understand UC and channel

iTEL is led by a team with experience across UC, finance, operations, consulting and partner relationships.

James Buxton

Managing Director

James joined iTEL as Managing Director in 2018. In addition to running the business, he leads relationships with vendors and solution providers. He spent the previous 16 years at KPMG, working within audit and restructuring before being made a director in KPMG’s Northern Enterprise Consulting team. Here, he supported clients with services ranging from strategic reviews to operational improvements and supply chain management. James is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds an MBA from London Business School.

Oli Ney

Finance Director

Oli joined iTEL as Finance Director in December 2024, and leads the Finance and Operations teams. With extensive experience in high-growth entrepreneurial businesses, he brings a track record of driving financial and operational value for shareholders. He qualified as a chartered accountant at Deloitte in 2012, and spent a number of years at E&Y in Transaction Advisory, before moving into industry, giving him a broad range of experience in businesses of all scales.

Edward Jones

Head of Content

Ed joined iTEL in 2000 and has advanced through various roles, starting as a Technical Trainer, then moving on to Project Coordinator and later serving as Technical Content Manager. His ability to adapt to the changing landscape of Unified Communications, combined with his technical expertise, led to his promotion to Head of Content in September 2024.

Andrew Rogers

Head of Development

Andrew assumed his role as Head of Development at iTEL in 2023, carrying with him a rich technical background from his time as a development manager and software developer. His career, however, began in academia where he spent a significant 10-year period sharing his knowledge as a college lecturer and teacher. Andrew uses both his technical skills and enduring dedication to education to drive the development of our ucSKILLS platform.

Mark Henshall

Company Chair

iTEL co-founder Mark has now handed over the baton of day-to-day operations to a new management team, but remains closely connected with the business as company Chair. Before the birth of iTEL, Mark did an apprenticeship in the nuclear industry followed by a degree in Control Engineering. He then spent 10 years selling telecoms peripherals in the heady post privatisation 1980s.

Debbie Dunn

Non-executive director

Following almost 30 years at the sharp end for iTEL, co-founder Debbie retains a key advisory role as a non-executive director. Over the years, she has managed almost every aspect of the business, from sales manager to content development and technical support. Her final role was in operations, streamlining processes and creating a successful support team taking customers from order to adoption. Prior to iTEL, she worked in the computer industry and then moved into account management for BT, where her clients included the NHS.
